I changed the default gameclass back to deathball some days ago, although VO-Mutator is still votable.

Looks like that deathball is more played
as VO now...

But I don't think that VO screws many new player away, you can say it is the same with the current keeper situation.

join was already smelling quite better , go to install kickit now....

I am quite happy huch much the worse versions gone.

I was yesterday seeing what means 6on6 at pubs, 5 are strinking and one is keeping, the other team get the ball and was passing to a hanger and scored.


Secondly there need to be to much done in UT2Vote fine tuning.

The THC65 Hinterhof is now running the VOMutator.
Since the VOMutator is rather a own GameClass then a Mutator you wont see it in the Serverlist of the Deathball Server browser.

I won't touch the server until the next release is out, I am sitting daily at work 8-9 hours in front of a screen. And since I also have a real life I sit not every evening at home again in front of my screen......

The server is on a big root box, it's not rent by me alone. If the root box goes away the server goes down.....

Just for the record, thc65 is the most used pub server in europe as far as know.

And since h is out I increased the slots to 12 and I have not installed VO mutator in h. Thus your are now seeing 6on6.....

VO really sux on big maps or when to many player are on small maps

Leaving VO off THC is a good thing. We don't really need more than one vo server. GKO can cater for that if it ever gets updated.

Go ahead and remove VO, but this will definitive kill DB on pubs...

You should consider that the most pub player prefer VO, if you remove it you have only the closed community in the pickups ;)

There are some new players in DB and they play as well VO, but UT2004 is dead and therefore DB ...
