I believe the server was Gibby's or Gibbens or Gib something. I was laughed at and harrassed... no biggie. Then I was booted for no reason what so ever. I never left the goal when I spawned there, but I couldn't make a volly shot to save my life. At first I thought it was an error, and reconnected ...

If you went to play street hockey with some friends and some1 said to you "Man you suck" do you go and complain to everyong because you think they can do something about it? no. Doing this solves nothing, its just asking for some pitty

The reason noobs probably don't ask questions, or ignore you is because the game is so fast paced that if you stop to type... GOAL. "Damn you noob!" hehe :D

Don't take it personally when we ignore you. Our brains are trying so hard to just play the game... it can't handle typing and playing. :lol:

Clan servers are locked because it's more expensive for a public server than a private, not anything as devious as keeping noobs out ;p

I was unaware of this... please explain why it's more expensive.

Is it because the clans are hosting their game server somewhere else? And that ISP will charge ...

I just think it doesn't help...
all the experienced players come together and come up with some basic teamplay rules or whatever...
but the n00bs don't read it...
when you play a game for the first time, would you just go online and play, or would you join a forum and look for n00b guides?

I would like to hear some Deathball suggestions/strategies that might help us noobs out. Deathball 101.

What are some things we should/shouldn't be doing?

I'm really impressed with most of the replies, as I was certain I would get flammed for bringing this up. It does make a lot of sense that in this team game, your ability or inability really sticks out, and people want to win. I think that is what draws you into the game is the competition and skill ...

Yes I'm pretty sure they were American servers, but I could be wrong becuase in one of them, my ping was like 230. Try playing goalie with that ping! :D

Most other servers that have good pings 70-80's are empty. I will keep searching though.
