it's been over 5 years since I quit this game because the updates made the game unpleasurable for me by coincidence I stumbled upon this forum again and I'm amazed to see TheOne is still active, I can remember him being a pro in VO, I always enjoyed our 1v1's :) well I can remember I stopped playing ...

I've been thinking of going back to 2.4e or something, but the problem is I only have 2.4c installer somewhere 2.3 is ok too but im only gonna play VO but I think that community is dead for some years now (because of DavidM's new crappy versions of DB :) ) VO is the only way to play, more eyecandy ...

it's pretty much david's fault :) when the new sounds kicked in the game got screwed up, this version was meant to kill VO play, like bouncing the ball under you(lol i could still do that even in 2.4k) david didnt like the fact ppl would prefer playing Volley Only over regular DB and that sucked cuz ...

i dont think so. we should'd make the game easier coz noobs wont learn more about the game. And about to much scoring is wrong again. There are many good matches in pickup we have, where the game ends with example 6:10. its just in VO for keeper it is like a another game, and this sux... i preffer ...

next week my server will be up again and I'm thinking to put 2 db servers up from there. the problem is ppl tend to lag because the server is positioned in the netherlands and ppl play form portugal and austria etc. so connection for a lot of ppl will be +60 ping I've noticed only dutch ppl getting ...

That's the point I'm trying to put emphasize on for a while now. I don't care about those few VO-ers. They are really just a few...they aren't getting more, and VO isn't attracting people. Normal DB is what 99% want... I'll shut up and not repeat myself over and over ;) Then why is it the majority ...

the whole idea of deathball as a game itself is dissapearing, remove the 4 jumps and boosting and u have football

i liked all versions before 2.4e tbh

2.4h.... well i knew vo would go out sooner or later but now it's finally gone in the normal version so now i had to download the vo mutator to get the game back to vo. now that "wall climbing" isn't "possible" anymore ( i can still do it but ahh well) by the time it works i won't be updating my db ...
