Home Run award should be for most balls shot out of field

actually I think there should be a whole slew of awards for being crappy at stuff as well as the good stuff like:

Home Run Award - most balls out of field
Butterfingers - most dropped balls/killed while having ball
Stevie Wonder Award ...

i've been thinking about scoring in db and noticed some things i consider key to winning a game i think ought to be rewarded

1) Volley set diverting
in a VO game (and even in some reg games) half the time it's won and lost by a defenders ability to knock away a good volley set. I'm not sure exactly ...

db maps w/ obstacles are hard to make good (not that i've made any, just what i know from playing)

you should definitely be able to get on top of the rocks by jumping like in tribun, if you have to walk up that would be no good

and i think the trees might be frustrating for visibility

but i wouldn't mind having a boost mushroom

personally I've always thought deathball could use some Super Mario Kart type power ups scattered around the field

you know, invincibility star, boost mushroom, banana peels and the like would be average stuff
BUT just think about this - every 5 minutes would spawn..... that's right, the homing ...

they're bringing back keeper quad jump?

hell yeah, i hated that they took that out

maybe this is an argument against, but i love dodge forward + 4 jumps to halfway down the field

no no, i meant if sprinting is combined w/ extra sprint energy when carrying the ball and the ability to jump (higher/farther) then it will become something people use to try and show off all the time
(IMO at least)

i think people may object to sprinting b/c they think it's only good for O when in fact it's been a great defensive addition

i've already spoiled countless shots on goal by waiting for the right moment as the attacker sets up then sprinting in for that critical jarring hit
also, ball gets cleared ...
