So what is your intention now with Deathball davidm? You say you will maybe do minor fixes to 2.4 but not much more and definitely no port to ut07. But you still have grand plans so where are you going with this?

You aren't even knocking the version as much, but knocking the fact that they are trying to put out a new version and get it tested. At least in NA it was getting less active already. Really the only thing that could spark a revival is a new version so stop h8ing so much ATB.

oh cmon CATA! help out to get db 2.4 out then get back to xball. I'm excited about xball as well but it's just reality that it's going to take a long time to complete and be ready for us to make the switch. In the meantime we need to keep this community going and a new version would do wonders.

Also, what are you pings on the US servers? Try out the BuD and UFO public servers to test it out and make sure it's playable. We have a EURO team in the league but they are generally able to ping in the low 100's and sometimes even in the 90's. A few of them can handle close to 150 but really ...

Hmmm well give it a month or two (or three) and maybe there will be interest again to start a new league. Even with a small amount of teams you can have a fun league if it's competitive.

I'd also say eliminate the 3 v 3 pickup games.. have ge make it so you can only make 5 v 5 or something.
