ay guys, im new and was just wondering wat i need to play on the servers ect. i play AoT old mod for ureal tournament and frag ops thought id try something new, so if some1 could help me out b appretiated thnx

You need Ut2k3 --> Deathball 1.9 [ http://www.deathball.net ] on some Servers is the EPIC Bonuspack but actually thats all u need.
mapvotes , patches etc. but those are samll dls.

gameservers db 1-4 are usually populated, and 1234 cube db server is where many of us started, and still play

DE bonuspack is also recomended... mostly for Costum maps...

#dbpickup on irc.quakenet.org is a necessary channel.

Join the gs.net pubs (There's 4 of them) or the 1234 pubs (Especially the Cube Only one) to have some proper 'fun' as far as db goes

Are you from Australia/New Zealand? If so, no you won't need COGS. All you need is the latest UT2003 patch, both bonus packs would be ideal, and Deathball 1.9. Once you have that stuff installed come into the Deathball game browser and you'll find an aussie server run by OzForces.

If you aren't from Australia/New Zealand then ignore everything I just said.
