is it just me or does it seem that DavidM and his coders don't agree (again?)

My point exactly. Why not support the NA community more as well? Allegedly gameservers.net do american servers as well, so why not ask for one if they do?
tried getting this idea months ago, didn't work, so we have to run the NA community on our own
personally, i think for DB to grow, there has to be a transition to UT04....with the amount of demo downloads (over 1.5 million the first week), it is obvious to me that the UT04 community will be drastically larger then the UT03 community, and with DB's standing as the top mod for phase 1, people will be buying the game, and possibly looking for other gametypes to check out. so unless you wish for the community to die (which i hate to be negative, but it certainly isnt growing much), it would probably be in the mod's best interest to switch over to ut04

i think what Twigster was pointing out with his pic of the server browser was the lack of people playing db on pubs
2 servers each with 1 in ?
the last 2 weeks since 1234 cube has been wierd laggy, the only server with people in is the gk (is that right?) server , which is always small cube vo 95% of the time. THis lack of people may be down to people have 1.9b and not wanting to keep downgrading (gg multiple releases) or the fact the DB is just about dead on publics. If you stay ut2k3, this will never get better, so moving to ut2k4 is a must if DB wants to stay alive imo

well still, no one in america was playing either. thats pretty sad. Althuogh i hate buying new games I bought Unreal 2003 specificly for deathball. I will get 2004 if i hafta for deathball again. this mod had the best of potential. and if deathball for 2004 is realeased. it being 'made' already when the game is released means everyone will find it right away and this community could potentially become irittatingly huge
