not true, many mods have big communities, not only CS
{Desert Combat, Tactical Ops, Natural Selection, Day of Defeat....}
its not even the biggest mod for UT2k3 and ut2k3 itself has a small community when compared to most famous games, so i'd say DB has a medium size community for a mod
And how many of those are following on from counterstrike's idea of 'realism'. The last time I saw TO it was basically a direct conversion of CS to the UT engine
this is creative modding
thats why 50+% are direct CS clones
tho people say that its sooooo different.....because the AK47 has a better sound in game X and a longer reload time in game Y

there are many attempts to clone CS, only one is (kinda) succesful: TO
from the ones i mentioned only TO is a CS clone anyway, as DavidM said...... its boring
but.... WW2 games are even more boring.... i had enuff
and still....... one CS clone and one WW2 mod are the most played mods for ut2k3...
i dont know whats wrong with the world......
maybe the new BF will create a new kind of success:
Vietnam Games...

It's real bad losing a community, sprint really hurt the aussie community.. Sorry to hear you guys go. Hopefully, it'll go better for the 2k4 version of DB.
