i thought that FPS and non-FPS would actually separate first person games from third person games, but apparently its between shooters and non-shooters :p

they intended first and other person stuff
but if they write FPS they gotta be exact and count it as shooter

in db you shoot ball ins first person, but its still no fps

but db is no first person shooter at all

shooter means there is some need to kill people with guns in that game
in db you might need to kill people sometimes, but its not about killing people, and you have no guns.
