I think now that VO mode is fixed. if VO mode is not on and a noob starts scoring reg shots and people want to play vo mode, they should instead of kicking the noob. vote for VO mode... then he will hafta learn because all his shots will reset... kicking him just hurts our small community because the only server he can play with a decent ping (assuming its an na player) he is now banned...
we should fix this gayness

well see my point of the matter was... in MapVote400b11... you could set it so that a person would click on the gametype they wanted to play... and it would open up the maplist for that gametype... then you would vote for the map in that gametype...
I think it's just faster to do that ...
and as far as VO is concerned... i just think that having the gametype up and running is better.. as there isn't anyone crying about freebies and shit... keeps the game clean

I agree that VO mode should be something that we use, we never used it before because it didnt work properly. And I definatly agree with Guity that MapVote made the choice of gametype much Quicker and simpler. Given we are not trying to scare off Noobs UT2 Vote can be very confusing at first, where as mapvote was simple and laid out nicley for you. But as for a experienced player or server admin UT2Vote is a very much more flexable and more capable option.
As for VO, as my general experience goes in NA we almost always play VO, unless it is a league or a pug. So why should we play it in reg mode? Besides playing it in VO mode gives you some new tactics as a keep on ways to clear a ball (shooting it into your own goal so it resets in the middle), or not get penalized for missing a pass that was coming back to you that you didnt see. Plus it keeps the game fair, no oop's about shots. Like when assholes shoot a reg shot because someone is pissing them off. That kind of crap discourages people from playin.
