... The best defence in Div 2 Vs the best away record of division 2
Hartlepool and Bristol played well the first leg, second leg i honestly think Hartlepool had it
Lack of a decent defender (1 or 2 got subbed) lead to a poor marking (he backed off as the ball came in, leaving goodfellow free) of the header
The second goal..well it was a good goal, but i expected the def to do a lot better than allow him to skin 2 and nutmeg the keeper
Dark dark day in football.
On the plus side, we only would have gotten relegated from Div 1 (definatly) - though we only lost 1-0 to sunderland in the FA Cup... might have proved otherwise
Nevermind, we're not back in Division 3 and that is the main thing, the money. Hartlepool is one club that wont go into administration.

£26M pounds in debt...2 relegations in 5 seasons...Terrible manager who Hartlepool can have back...Courrpt chairman...Losing in the play-offs must be shit, but at least you got there...My Sheff Wed were 3 points from relegation to Div3...At the turn of the decade we were in the Premiership...
And Andy Booth never had a reputation for diving at Sheff Wed...But he did have a reputation for being utter wank.
