We also sometimes show films at my school (we have a projector and a screen there), and I just came back from doing a lovely sneak preview of a film called 11:14.
It's not out in cinemas yet (or at least not in the Netherlands, so most likely not yet in most places either), and I swear I'm going to go see it again if it comes out, before I buy the DVD

It's a great thriller about a couple of people who's stories get tangled up as they meet and as you unravel the plot.
Sound cliché? Well, this time, it isn't

Basically eventually it comes down to 2 people dying in a way you didn't think they did (they are all accidents btw, no splatter-horror or anything like that), and as you slowly come to know how the characters are connected to eachother, and as you see what misunderstandings occurred etc. you can only conclude this is truly a brilliant movie.

11:14 is the minute in which the bodies are hit by a car, which is how you first thought they died, where with one, it's true, and you find out she's the key to it all who connects most of the characters etc. and the other died earlier, which fills in an important role as well

I won't tell you all too much (and I hope I haven't), but I do suggest you go see this film when it's out, I enjoyed it, and it's finally different from most no-brainer thriller films.
