Until epic pull their finger out of their own asses, please make this game playable for us mere mortals.
If someone really is speedhacking (never seen in db yet), it would be very obvious, and I hope they would get reported to the admins appropriately, rather than forcing the rest of us to endure this horrible bug.

ah mb. I figured it was a new problem, because I've only started getting it since I moved to patch 3236. Any idea how to fix it for this version then? I am essentially unable to play on servers I haven't previously tested.
I can't play for more than 10 minutes w/o getting speed hack detected at least twice, before a 3 second lag-out where people keep running in one direction..you know.
It also happens when people join the server.
It's odd because PL, ping etc. are all normal o_O and I've been getting it only since 3236
Executing the 3236 patch makes the appropriate changes to the ut2004.ini and default.ini, but uploading it to a server does not. Ask the admin of the server(s) in question to verify that the changes in manifest.ini were applied to the server's active ini file.
In the case of Deathball Servers using the deathball.ini, chances are, the changes were NOT applied to it.
