its hard for me. On one side, I'm addicted to deathball, on the other side there are loads of other mods (ABU, etc) for free..
+ if I want to pay monthly I could do a mmorpg..its hard for me, I'll decide tho o_o

find someone that already has a job and will code db in thier spare time. They wont bitch about wanting to be paid, because wanting to be paid for a mod is rediculous (except for a contest winner, i.e. msu, winning a contest deserves money, but not a weekly paycheck)

not to mention there are already a ton of flaws in the game as it is, but i can at least see progression, so thats a good step forward.

Also, i have better things to spend money on, pr0n

i don't really think, that the community is big enough to pay enough money to motivate the coders. how many of us are playing db regulary and are appreciative of the work? i think, that my first guess with 20-30 people, which would pay, isnt unrealistic.

and in my opinion... paying for a mod? a hobby of some guys, which have fun by coding stuff? for a game with a really small community which could be dead in a couple of month?
i mean, i really respekt you all for your work, but paying for it? come on...

I dont really think DavidM is trying to get people to pay. But trying to find out if enough people actually enjoy playing the game and may decide that donating a little money to help secure its future is a good thing.

Many applications have donate options on their websites for people that wish to. Nothing is forcing anyone to, but if it helps some may choose to.

panda, it just requires a normal bank account, and you wire the funds....
no special stuff required for paypal.

Omfg , 60% wouldn't pay a thing for db...
I've just donated 40 euro and wouldn't be a problem for me to pay 5 euro\month for the game, and i'm sure it wouldn't be a probelm for the most of you too....
So stop trhowing money away for porn magazine and keep 5 euro \ month for the game you love, couse u can blame it , u can talk bad about rmb radius, but at the end , u love it and u will continue to play it

Hell, I've been playing this off and on since 1.3. Its the only game installed that long ago that I still fire up for some fun.

I don't see monthly payments taking off, but for too many versions to count (!) I've had fun, so you have my 1337 EUR.

Good job so far, and keep the improvements coming :p
