also, if anyone has a fix to get a DB game launched from nnscript that would be cool

You have to create it yourself, DB doesn't do it for you (might be a good idea if it did).

(I assume you're running windows)

First open your deathball.ini file and edit the following line found under the [URL] section

Code: Select all

Protocol=ut2004

to read

Code: Select all

Protocol=deathball

Next run the attached .reg file found in the zip.

The reg file assumes that DB and UT were installed in their default locations (C:\UT2004, C:\UT2004\deathball), if not just edit the reg file yourself to point to the right places. Tested with Windows XP but I guess it should work in earlier versions too.

Cant remember off hand, although if they do and you use nnscript you'll be able to start db straight from irc $\o/$

Just an idea: make this sticky
