Invisible host

We are having a problem on our LAN. It mostly happens on DB-CUbe, but on a couple others too. The player who is hosting the listen server plays normally, but his avatar is invisible. The name still shows up and the player is still on the radar. Is this a known issue? Can it be fixed? It's causing people to desert deathball without giving it a good chance. Help!

Describe how deathball is installed, and lets see the ini file used by the server.

i think this was in 2.1 bug but i think it was supposidly fixed in 2.1c?

I just downloaded it yesterday. How do I find out what I have? File just says 2.1

in the mainmenu it will say 2.1c
