yeh, ash. i must say u didnt play the game yet for sure...
At first look, when u get your hands into the game u feel pretty confident (i mean how can a game be that scary).
But then, the first u play and when the foes start to appear in a really dark atmosphere, filled with noises that u can never be sure if they mean something or not, u start to feel a lil bit tense. You never know whats going to happen for sure.
After a while, u get used to it and start to feel the game and guessing whats going to happen, but from time to time you can get pretty scared.
As an example, that one showed in the video. When a zombie comes out of a dark corner and u kill him and everything is ok, then u go for the medical machine behind the place where the zombie was and suddenly we see yourself in a real tight corner and hear something running at you, not knowing when will it appear, you cant help it.
Another example, yesterday i was playing it at night (Alpha Labs Section 4), and was pretty much not scared or anything, was gettin used to it. But suddenly, after killing all the guys. I hear: "Over here", "Follow Me". No1 there, could only see bloody footsteps appearing on the ground, nice huh? Then i follow it and the screen turns into bloody red^^ I think omfg a ghost is gonna flash in front of me and im going to freak out
but no, the woman starts crying and saying "they took my baby" and u hear a baby cry... ^^ more tense i was, but then all stopped. False Alarm. Thats a tense moment and still nothing happened, but u just cant help feeling a bit jumpy...
I think it might be some kind of prelude for the cherubs, prolly...

the most scared/shocked i've ever been playing a game?
The scene: Return to Castle Wolfenstein, the first creepy zombie-crypt bit. A couple of em burst up infront of me, and then THE BIGGEST FUCKING SPIDER I'VE EVER SEEN drops from the ceiling onto my keyboard.
I've never jumped up so quickly in my life, smashed my head on my bed, and ended up unconcious on the floor.
Doom3 ain't shit
