This mutator does two things to help balance teams better:
1) If there are bots in the game, they are scaled to the two teams' performance. For example, if the Red Team has really good players and the Blue Team has only average players, the Blue Team's bots will be set to a much higher level than the Red Team's to balance things out.
2) Optionally, the mutator can also evenly distribute the human players among the teams based on their performance in the previous match. You can also set an option to prevent players that have had their teams chosen from switching teams.
Obviously, the balancing can't be perfect. Especially if many players are entering/leaving a server quickly the mutator will likely be unable to keep up. However, in many situations it should increase the probablility of even matches, which means more fun for the players.
This mutator is server side only and does NOT require a ServerPackages line in UT2003.ini.
This mutator has a configuration menu with three options:
-Balance Human Players: If checked, #2 above will be done.
-Force Teams: If checked, players who have had their team chosen by the mutator will be unable to switch teams.
-Fair Team Score Difference (%): If the losing team has at least this percentage of the winning team's score, the current teams are judged as fair. This means the mutator will enforce the current teams as they are and not move anyone around. You can prevent this from occurring (and thus always move players around) by setting this option to 100.
