Hi people,

I'm new here, just installed deathball. Problem is that everytime I try to run it.. it says that the comp can't find the file: UT2004.exe

How to solve this?

Uhm...did you install UT2004?

And do you run Deathball by using Play Deathball.cmd?

Also check if there's no deathball files in ut2004/system, they all need to be in ut2004/deathball/*

Im in college right now m8, so i cant quite help you. What i can say is that you open ut2004 as you usually do, then go to community and click on deathball then activate it. After this open your Ut2004 folder in C:\ or w/e its called. Then go to your deathball folder and click on play deathball. This is a cmd file and will get you to Deathball right away.

Still having problems or even if your not, Its a good idea to vist the deathball community, where most experienced players are. go to IRC: #dbpickup and #Deathball

Have fun;

Dont know how to get to IRC, read this quick and simple Guide:

Just installed the ut2004 patch, and installed it in C:\programfiles\ut2004

Now there is a file in C:\programfiles\ut2004 named: UT2K4Mod.ini

That's the patch, right?

I still can't play deathball, because it still says that the ut2004 files is missing..

hi, well

this link will get you to irc. just agree to the java applet it'll get you on to talk to someone and help you pretty fast o/

http://www.db-community.com/inphidel/pu ... ickup.html

i'm attaching an image to this post with my ut2004 dirrectory structure. yours will be a little differet for the path

c:\program files\ut2004 no doubt? weird :P anyway make sure it looks bout the same maybe death ball is installed into the wrong dirrectory.

i've also highlighted 2 CMD files that you shuold be able to run to get deathball to work. if your stuff isnt set up like this its probably installed wrong and i would suggest reinstalling using the zip file and just placing the deathball dir into your ut2004 dir.

anyhow good luck. and be sure to read the rest of my site once you get it working so you can start kicking some butt right away o/

Thanks for helping! I fixed the problem with the UT2004 patch... But there appears to be a new problem,

Your CD key appears to be invalid. You will need to reinstall the game and enter your CD key to fix the problem..

Can anyone help me?
