A few months back he was an annoyance. I wonder if he will play nice now. I'd be willing to give him a chance if he follows the instructions the the UTAN ban screen told him to do. What do you people think we should do?

What's UTAN? I'll resurrect the thread from db-community and repost it in the server forum here. I just received this so I'll share it as a sample of the UTAN info provided to a server admin:

A little of all the above and then some. His IP comes back to an ISP in Florida, and I'd forgotten all about him up til now. His original ban was a result of people IM'ing the hell out of me about this guy on the F0 server. I went onto it as a spec and observed. Sure enough, this guy was changing teams and doing his best to owngoal and steal keeper powers. Since Hook's server was a DB-Community GISP UTAN server, I was able to look the guy up online in a screen similar to this one:

and take action so he gets the message that we don't want that on our servers.
When he attempts to connect, he will see a message screen similar to this:

. If he actually comes to that address and posts his ban info, he can plead his case to the DB-Community admins to have the ban removed. Seems like a reasonable way to protect the pubs to me.
I will definately have to rebuild that lost theread to fully describe how to join the DB-Community GISP and run UTAN.

In 1.9 we had to share/add the bans manually. Eventually, we locked out Nutella and Woolf and the wave of lamers.

Someone needs to ban LOLAGE and ROFLAGE asap. They are getting very annoying.

It's also laming, copying each others word (which I find a bit amusing) and having a "smart" comment for everything you say.
