yeah, people whining about no pickups is dead annoying! man guys, do something for deathball!

this thing today attracted many noobs.
and yes, we need more pubs. the problem is, a noob downloads DB, and cant really do anything with it, botmatch is....well.... and the servers are empty.

the singleplayer mode should help there, and more pubs!

well it was a very nice game, i met some new ppl and helped out some newbies

thank you to play with you all guys Kermet, Messy, Robo, Reini, Rino, Tanatos, my aB mates

, some AoV guys, 18+, 3dg, and much more, i hope we can do it more times .) :p
btw its a bug of the score from Kermets last screenshot i was 2 hours in and had over 30 goals cant be 7

tbh, this was a fun experience... I only could play for a few minutes, didnt have time, then my brother (caTUSA) played for a while, he didnt play this game for ages

Anyway, what i cant understand is why dont most experienced players play pubs more? Instead of running pickups, y dont ppl that want to play think: "We're up for a game let's all go into a public server and rock". I play publics more than pickups nowadays, mainly coz im not in IRC frequently, and i cba. But i get more insults in pickups than publics (unless The_One is playing on pubs of course

<3 ), so i think there's really no reason to play PUs, if servers get filled with many good players, the game is as good as a pickup, prolly better and its better for the newbies, thats for sure. We need to save this game, coz we know it rocks

It was really good to see people playing on pubs for once, looked like everyone had a good time. Just a shame my router decided to die on friday so I was left to use an old modem I had laying around (laaaaaag). <3

Really though, what is the point of pickups? Is it just to avoid "n00bs" or because it's supposed to be a higher standard?

If all the pickup guys played on pubs then the standard wouldn't be much different surely? Besides, there aren't enough "n00bs" to be annoyed by anyway. ^^
