Czech Budvar is rich, creamy, and there's a hint of hop in the nose and the taste.

American Budweiser is ice-chilled carbonated dog urine.

I don't know whether this is an urban legend or not, it was recounted to me as a drunken pub story...

Apparently, American Bud does not legally qualify as beer in the Czech Republic, it is instead sold as an "alcoholic rice beverage"
