But if it helps more people enjoy the entire DB package, it'd be nice having it back.

You have to remember one thing cory, DavidM doesn't have much time/coders on his hands, so I doubt DBW will be brought back.

afaik Rens and Fizzy (?) made DBW... so it'd depend on them redoing it and DavidM sticking it with DB.

It was more of a gimmick for me, maybe its because few people played it and, without many maps, it got repetetive. It's a good concept though, good fun killing peeps with fluke shots

Like with Tennis and Dodgeball, I played DBW two times, didn't enjoy it either time, and never touched it again.

i liked dbw.

and like its been said, if it promotes the 'deathball package' what harm can it do?

at least db will be installed on more comps
(havent even tried 2.3 yet)

DBW is playable if you still have 2k3. Just revert to 1.9, which is when the mod was still werking. I still play occasionally...although I haven't lately. Zzzt, Thex, Reaper and a few others were about the only ones that played tho.
