How to increase max simultaneous downloads in Firefox?

Maybe because one of the files (are you talking about the ctrl+j download manager that gives a summary of your previously downloaded files?) on it is on the floppy disk's drive (you downloaded on to a floppy disk? o_O) and it looks on the drive each time you open the download manager?

Try cleaning up the files (bottom right corner).

For the original question in this thread, an easy solution is to get the "Tweak Network Settings" extension on this page:

http://www.bitstorm.org/extensions/

If you don't know what you are doing, just click the power setting and it will not only increase the number of downloads you can get simultaneously from a server, but you should notice a speed increase in your general browsing as well.

and i asked my dad he download cdcover pciture onto a floppy...
