ps: I personally like Dillinger Escape Plan a lot atm (well actually, it's just what I'm listening to now), but I wouldn't try putting bands in a list, and I wouldn't even think about saying "this band > *" or whatever. It's stupid /o\ it won't work no band is the best

Dillinger Escape Plan (mathmetal) is wonderful, I also like the Dutch nu-metal band Dreadlock Pussy, and that's about all the metal I _really_ like.
Evanescense or Nightwish however you write it ain't 'goth', well, it might be, but it really depends what you call goth yourself
I personally like to call Evanescence and Nightwish teen-metal (maybe even teen-goth, if you want to)
Real (known) goth music would be industial, like KMFDM, MDFMK, Nine Inch Nails and more psychadelic music (goa,psytrance) like Infected Mushroom.
Those four names I mentioned, I like alot, from time to time
I prefer alot of diffrent styles, atm I'm listening to alot of punkrock and digital hardcore (Atari Teenage Riot)
I also listen to Kruder/Dorfmeister and Kreidler, Kraftwerk is amazing and sometimes some techno/tekno can be quite nice too.

Fuck sake I don't even know what I'm talking about, probably not even a good story but oh well

(For those who don't know, it's kind of what Ramms+ein and Rob Zombie grew out of --> Industrial Metal, though you should really hear it..Industrial is quite cool)
