Messy go to relapse.com or nile-catacombs.net. There should be some samples there... I personally advice u to look for Unas Slayer of the Gods, its a >10min song that really defines what the band is all about.
And btw, I don't find Slipknot to be unskilled, i can understand y u dont like them, but being skilled or not is a different subject

Did I say Slipknot was unskilled? ;p
In fact..I also find Korn's bassist Fieldy quite good, but I dislike Korn even more than I do Slipknot.
I never stated skilled equals good either
edit: Thanks Ceno,
http://shop.relapse.com/store/product.a ... ctID=15006 <-- aargh horrible quality o_O
From what I can hear in the various samples through the horrible digital noise and artefacting though, they sound pretty awesome
(I never thought I'd use that word ¬_¬ but it seems to fit)
I'll try and look for some of their albums soon

						Oi Ceno..forgot I said that
 lol
Ok I take that back
..well no, I'd rather formulate it differently ;p
"Most of their songs are shallow, which is a shame because it often doesn't show their individual skill well enough"
I just love the way some bands can put more riffs and tempo-changes and dynamics into one track than slipknot does over the span of 5 or 6 tracks
It's all personal taste I guess, but I don't like Slipknot /o\
ps: That's not a lot of MP3 stu /o\ although I must say I don't have much more either
just some ripped cd's in order to transfer them to the iPod
Then again, I'm also not very happy with the amount of CDs I currently have, but I'm poor, and my list of CDs-I-Have-To-Buy = immense.
\/\/\/ List of CDs attached \/\/\/
Note there are some old ones there I'm not too proud of
but seeing as it's still growing, I guess I'm happy with it so far. Maybe I just want too much ;p
ps: Might be kind of messy since I had to convert it from .doc to .txt (manually, duh)
