Black (definitely) and TEZC (possibly) out of the league
I WOULD LIKE ONE RESPONSE TO THIS THREAD FROM EACH TEAM. OTHER RESPONSES WILL BE DELETED. THE THREAD WILL REMAIN OPEN FOR 3 DAYS
Hi all,
this is to let you know that Black have unfortunately decided to drop out of the league. I have also heard various rumours that TEZC have too, but have not heard anything from their members (please let me know if you have).
The question is what do we do about it. The way I see it we have two choices.
1. We can leave each division a team down, effectively meaning that each team would have 4 games to play before the play-offs.
2. We can let two teams join part way through the season. This has a couple of draw-backs. The first being that they would either have to catch up the games, or inherit the old teams record. I am unhappy with either of these ideas. A team inheriting TEZC's record would be in a pretty strong and unfair position. The other one is, who would we let in if there are more than two teams wanting to join?
I am currently leaning towards the first option. However, I would like the opinions of each of the teams. Please respond to this asap, as we need to make a decision yesterday.
Cheers,
Wibbs

I'm also ashamed with that situation... many players left the team, few others joined (in fact only 1) and the last stopped playing db for a while. Anyway, i dont know if as a ßk member and not as a ßk leader i can reply to your thread but:
-yes ßk left the dbl
-yes you could leave the division with a team down
-yes you should let in another team (if this one previously wanted to join dbl but couldnt because the league has already started)
But picking the 2nd - should be the best thing to do imo, and then rearange the divisions for the next dbl season .
Maybe Jaro could give a beter reply to this... hope he will.
Well cya ... sniff

well we retire from the dbl cause we are not enough to play
even if we recruit there is no point in playing dbl as we need to do fws before, to know eachother
i don't play public anymore too, sc sc sc sc and sc is boring me, i only play late at night in this nice bud server (NA server), so it's hard to recruit
shame cause i would really enjoy to play dbl

Because both teams are in Alpha Division thats not our business. Anyway - I have an opinion.
Unfortunately neither Black nor TEZC has played against all remaining teams: Black dont played AllStars and TEZC missed the game vs cY. This makes the situation a little bit unfair.
My suggestion: Annul all games of TEZC and give AllStars a 1:0 default win against Black. Keep the other Black-Results.
Then try to find a new team to replace Black. This team has to play all other teams exactly one time and starts with zero points. If possible, this team could even start with 0:0 goals, while the other teams keep their goals vs. black.
If you find a second team to join and the league script supports these dirty tricks. Also starting with zero points and 0:0 goals and also plays every team one time.
Hope someone understands my English o_O

Our Farewell...
Hello everyone..
I come here to formally announce TEZC's obvious retirement from the DBL and DeathBall itself... It's been nice to play db under this great clan's name, but like most good things, it has an end...
Like several other clans as i see, the innactivity gave us the final blow... After a long discussion, we all agreed in the end to stop playing db... Firstly, because we've all grown up alot since we first started two years ago, and the time has come to move on, and secondly because, even if we did have time to play db, as in, actually practice the game to develop a full competitional gameplay among our players, we're all sure we wouldn't really enjoy playing it anymore... there's really no desire to keep playing this, due to various reasons we all seem to share...
Although myself, Afflictor and perhaps Goldeneye have already considered to someday, perhaps, play db again under a different name when we have the time, i'd like to thank, on behalf of every TEZC member, everyone that has been friend with us for the past two years, and i'm not gonna name anyone as i could easily forget one or another, they'll know who they are
My apologies to all the trouble this will have caused to the DBL. We hope to see you again someday, you can contact us in #TEZC
Goodbye ,o/

Holy I hope you don't retire from DB - but if you do, I will remember the days of playing on publics 2 years ago, and seeing volleying for the first time. You always managed to make me think "where the fuck did he come from ?" and suddenly theres a volleyed goal that I had no idea was even possible.
You are one of the originals (I think you played in the very first DBL game against us, TEZC vs DEUS) and I hate to see you go.
PS. Other TEZC notable achievements: 50+ games unbeaten run on clanbase DB ladder. ahhhh.
