Shit happens
let's stop looking at the past, and generally overreacting whenever somebody mentions something bad.
Making it even more of a taboo isn't going to let us forget or accept the bad things that have happened in history, illnesses, disabilities or anything else 'negative'.
Bad things happen
accept the dark side and take it for granted. The world would be nothing like it is or should be without bad things happening.
It's odd how ancient cultures before Semitic influences took over accepted the dark side of life far more than we do now.
This is very apparent in the difference between old polytheistic cultures, and modern day monotheisms.
Our idea of perfection and utopia is a land without trouble where the poor and disabled are put first, where a good god rules.
Our bad stuff is 'demonised' and materialised into a 'Satan' or another general 'evil'.
Polytheism often has deities that have both bad and good things in their 'portfolio' so to speak.
It's a far more realistic approach for as far as these things go.
With only bad things, the balance would be off..and reasoning from such a pseudo-utopia is very unrealistic.
..all I'm saying is, bad things like the holocaust..they happened.
Being stuck up about it doesn't change anything
That, and I just wanted to write some random stuff down before I went to bed.
Bye.
