DB-Atlantis

Post by fro »

Id like to be under the sea. No, I really would, it would be so much nicer than the horrid weather that im experiencing here. Why does it always rain on me?

Ah yeah, the map; its the same size as wastelands/old smallcube and it was primarily made for gibball back when gb2 was in its initial inception phase, but this has sat around on my hdd for about 6 months. bad me :(

It has a low roof, making for some different play, the purists will probably hate it, but it only increases the angles at which a spiky ball flies at you. I hope it conveys a sub-aquatic feel.

Most notable aspect of this level is that during the testing phase, onge got thoroughly beaten by a team of novice bots! :)

Thanks go to canash and onge for suggesting all sorts of stuff to add into this one.

As with all of the maps iv posted today, they can be grabbed as a group: here , and have been mirrored to the gs.net redirect for imaginos' pleasure

And I am indeed pleasuring myself.

Same drill.. Snagging, redirecting and adding to the BuD servers' New Maps button.

Agree there. Symmetry in a map is a big requirement for fair playability, but it doesn't have to LOOK the same.. I likey.
The low cieling is wonderful for getting a quick surprise kill in GB as well.
