This video has been out for a couple of weeks now, but I was wondering whether you guys had seen it before. It's a music video based around the story of Half-Life 2 and sung by none other than the Gman.

I thought it was quite good as far as Machinima efforts go, what do you guys think?

Wow. Just wow.
That's better than a helluva lot of "professional" music videos, with budgets in the millions.
The only creepy thing was the gman lipsync, if only because the voice didn't match what I was expecting him to sound like. Maybe should have used a new/minor character for the vocal lead?
Either way, that was amazing.

Meh..I don't really like the vocals, nor do they fit the character.

But! It's still a really really really good job.
Quite professional

Heh, well when you think about it, can you really picture any of the other male HL2 characters singing it? I do agree with you, don't get me wrong. But to me the idea of seeing someone like Barney singing it also seems weird.

After watching the video a couple more times the Gman seems more and more appropriate for the video, I just think it's the inititial surprise of seeing him singing the song that makes it seem so wrong.

Excellent stuff.

I understand thou why ppl dont really like Gman singing lik that, it doesnt fit the character not even a bit, but its ok.

I mean, a person that doesnt know anything about Half-Life wouldn't notice any problem.

EDIT: That song is called "So Cold" and it's from Breaking Benjamin, in case anyone would be interested ^^
