the newest UT2003 patch was just released (2225) and it has an option for "small weapons". this makes first person weapons about half as big.
with the new DB gun, it looks fine WITHOUT the ball (maybe it could be moved right a little more), but WITH the ball, it abruptly changes position so it is floating in mid-air.

Oh, if you got the shootbug report it immediately.
If your weapon stops firing, type "getweaponstats" at the console. Then, continue trying to fire your weapon, so more stats can be gotten. Both client and server must be upgraded to the 2225 patch. Send the ut2003.log file from your system folder then.

please make the fact that you have the ball more obvious, that isn't something that you should have to worry about.
also is there anyway that we can have our old charge sound back? i noticed that it actually took some geting used to (i didn't realize but i think somehow the audio cues had a part in timing of shots). i know i would get used to it but i am wondering what is the point of changing it, it is no better nor no worse than the other one.
just small things but i think they would make life easer
