There's something very odd about this gold. It's not pure; it's an alloy of some sort. Moreover, it's magnetic, but not in the ordinary sense. Its poles seem to align in the direction of the house.

That's all I can tell so far. But tinman's right - this has been pulled off a main block, not cut or chipped. But it's much harder than pure gold - I can't even make an impression on it.

Some news, Elsa: ToTo left for some days, I forgot where he wanted to go.

And Nicky had some weird dreams, after she collapsed. This happened, when TinMan was trying to untie her, he collapsed, too. And my mind was wandering once again ...
