There's no-one in there but you, but - and don't take this the wrong way - you're not all there.

Your thought processes are all taking place inside your brain, but your actual consciousness is somewhere else. I don't understand how your mind is all joined together, but it seems to be functioning as one unit, just not all in the same place.
