There is a well known aide-memoire which states that christmas day and new years day fall on the same day of the week. However in 2000 christmas day was on a Monday and New years day was on a Saturday. Why didn't the rule work?

The first day of 2000 was a Saturday. The rule works between 2000 and 2001. New year's of 2001 was indeed a Monday.

The 60th and 62nd prime ministers of Great Britain had the same parents but they weren't brothers. How is that possible?
Too easy

Winston Churchill
Some people wish they could have a birthday every day. Technically there is a place where this is possible. Where?
