i think once 1.7 is out there should be a topscorers list for the league. with the new points its easy to find out who shot the goals, who assisted etc.
the points could be like 3pts for goal, 2pts for 1st assist and 1pt for 2nd assist. cuz i wanna know who is the best and who is just talkin sh1t^^

top scorers aren't always the best, what about the person who made the play possible or the person that knocked the defence clear out of the way for the other man to take his shot against the keeper alone. If u want to know whos the best play pubs, but play in pick ups to see the best talent. Watch demos of clan matches and draw your conclusions.

bah, why is an assist not as good as a goal.... there would be no goal of it wasnt for the assist. goal assist and 2nd assist should all be worth the same...

in my clan i play just behind the atacker, and he wuldnt score half as many goals if it wernt for me draggin defenders away, or waitin for the right time to pass!

the key to a lot of goals is timin, so alltho id like to see a golascoreres list, it dont prove who the best players are at all!

that´s EXACTLY my oppinion. But its hard enough to score a goal... although an assist is often more important than the shot for itself.
but i know that not the one with the most goals\assists\saves\points is the best player... although is part of being the best player to be good in min. one of these things...

well i only wanted to have more stats about the players.seems like im the only one in here who thinks this way.

Are there plans to have a stat page where the stats can be tracked, not just scorers, but saves, assists, etc. Not for a Blow Yer Own Horn purpose, just to see who's doing what.

ok.. how about top scorer by shot/goal ratio, best keeper by goal/save ratio and best defender by most interceptions and frags (added together to get a total #)

maybe you could implement something like this to deathball, that can create log files and then people can make their own stats from it, or you could make them send you the logs from leaguegames or even set it up to send log entries to a central server

How would u declare a "shot"? "Shooting" is often used for (wall)passing ...

Anyhow some stats would be nice. A Top ten would be cool i think. But not about points, just a counter for e.g. goals, assists, saves, interceptions, frags, deaths, hit while chargeup, taken hits while charge up ...
