There is a certain creature that was taken from its home. It was moved exactly half way around the world. When it reached its destination it suddenly discovered that it was back where it started. How? What creature is it and where did it live?

Nope its not in space or in the centre of the earth :)

Its a very small creature ;)

And I'm sure that somewhere in this thread the place it lives has been mentioned ;)

Well maybe it went a quarter and came back.

Or, where it started wasn't necessarily its home where it was taken from... It could have come halfway round the world, built itself a home and been taken back (I sympathise seeing as I lived in England, came to Australia for 8 years and recently had to move back :( still spent most of my life so far there for 3 years. Work out how old I am :P)

It was its home and it goes directly halfway around the world :)

It doesn't travel along the equator, so half way distance around the world on the equator might be enough to return to home on another longitude (latitude? I always forget which is which)

everyone is thinking so complicated :)

Think more of where it started and where halfway round the world from there is :)
