always.. Always.. ALWAYS make sure you have the current build if you want to keep up with the beta servers. Many times the version or build date may be in the server name.
Check your build here: http://deathball.net/Downloads/
If you have the current build and the mismatch error persists, it could be you're trying to connect to a server with an OLDER beta build. Contact the server admin to verify.
Reminder: Be patient with this development process. Provide feedback. This is a work in progress and can change dramatically from build to build. Some contents may have settled during shipment.

Getting Mismatch errors on beta servers?

I'm getting this error:
Failed Launching URL
Package 'Deathball' Version Mismatch
I have version 3355 of UT2k4 and I just downloaded version 2.3 (Exe version) of Deathball. It says it requires version 3339 of UT2k4, is that the problem? That I have a newer version?
This may be usefull; I run UT2k4 in 'Windows 98/ME' mode set in the Compatibility Tab. Because Kerio Firewall colides with my game.

deathball mismatch means your deathball.u file is a wrong version
so either you dont have the latest or you have 2 files.
make sure you have no file in ut2004/system
they all have to be in ut2004/deathball/system
all files in ut2004/*.*/ come first. so if you have an older file in there it will be used instead of the newer one in ut2004/deathball/*.*/
