im looking into getting mapvote removed from some servers and small cube removed from rotation, if not then i plan to boycott as many games as possible by playing normal shooting and effictively ruining the game by scoring over and over, you may say its lame but its ruining deathball totally...
and ive noticed that every so often one guy will join a server full of people and say "volley only!"
and then you will get called lame for not following it
ive had enough

I don't see the difference, a goal is a goal. you are a fucking idiot if you don't shoot the ball into the goal when you have a perfect oportunity to just score.

VO is for showboaters. I mean this is death ball, not volly ball ;P

Whats so bad about playing a normal game, if a volly has so much skill then you should pwn those normal shooting newbies right?

why does the community insist on forcing players to show off? and in doing so also forcing new players to be severly handicapped so they can "show those n00bs who's boss around this mod!"

i do exactly the same as curve, it dont matter to me if its vo or not, i just play deathball cos its wat i enjoy doin. Wat i dont like is the bitchin that goes on at n00bs in the servers who score and are immediately bombarded with "vo noob" when it is obviously clear that they have no idea how to pass properly, let alone know wat a volley is or how to do it. Add to that the fact that most of the ppl who shout this abuse can't volley properly themselves, it will end up ruinin deathball. So if i cant sit on the fence on this matter i vote:

down wiv vo.

OMG Volley only is needed in the game, it's a way to trick keepers and in NA we always pass, maybe you Euro's should pass more, I mean, what's the problem? It takes a whole lot skill to do one so I don't know why you would want to take it out, plus it will make the game live longer, since there is another type of gameplay to master, the player won't be satisfied until he or she has finished everything, now if volley only is removed the game will die faster and also will remove more players faster, but thats my opinion.

Plus normal shooting is soooo easy, even a n00b can aim at an open space and charge to an etent, volley only is a thing that re-assures your skill. So no reason to take it out. And boy-cotting ain't gunna do shit mah boy.

well anyone can say that... to get it past a keeper is hard.... you can just say
"Plus volley shooting is soooo easy, even a n00b with a good ping can look at the goal and press fire when the ball is in front of them.. Combining bannana, sprint, jumping and good tactics are the only things that re-assures your skill!"

How is vo another type of gameplay when u hardly use it in truly competitive matches. How many times have u seen a league match stipulation that its vo? Wats the point if a n00b learns to volley really well but cant shoot normally to save his life. I prefer the attackers i recruit 4 my clan to b able to shoot properly more than to b able to volley. An against a good defender, its easy 4 the defender to stop the volley, whereas many good defenders i have seen cant really stop a normal shot gettin past em.

and when we say VO sucks

we mean playing games where you CANNOT score normally is lame, we are not saying we don't want people to Volly for goals only period.

all we want is for everyone to just shut up and play the game, if someone shoots right at the net and score or bounces it off their friends head and scores, everyone still goes YAY

If you're going to remove SmallCube from mapvote, please remove Cube and Lowcube as well. There are always servers hosting these extremely ugly and boring maps, and I like to play some of the other maps once in a while. But bloody Cube always wins! Grrrrr!
