just at curiosity, what games you lot waiting for? (like to see whats coming out and that could be decent)

me: Neverwinter nights 2, diablo 3, BG 3, ut2007 (lol?), doom4-another lol, the elder of scrolls: oblivion

edit: oh and if someone can be bothered to put a protest campaign for diablo 3 not to be a mmo please do.

(if you want a MMo, get WoW, why make D3 it... well then again if you want rpg get nwn but mmo...nooes.)

Also Command & Conquer Red Alert3 might be interesting, but not sure, since it's no longer produced by Westwood, they were my heroes

Dreamfall, Broken Sword 4, The Movies, Deathball retail?...not much else really.

I think the reason people list sequels is because if the game is completely original then people can't really know what to expect, can they?

Most new games are hyped a sufficient amount of time before the release to create expectations.

Though technically, with sequels, people can't really know what to expect either, right?

A hype also includes a lot of information that can be rated quite objectively (though of course any review or preview will eventually be subjective).

Anyway, I think there's a difference here between realistic expectations and plain enthusiastic curiosity.

diablo 3 is getting shit load of hype, with all the new MMO talk...with noone having any idea whatsoever.. D2: LoD looked pretty crap.. D3 looks like WoW.. :shrugg: ?
