By the boss. It's a bit difficult to explain. There were the boss, his brothers, a couple of women and many kids - us. And the backyard was full of apple trees, closed up and well-guarded by those brothers - the perfect place to keep a handful of children.

*then turns to Derse* That house - the big one at the end of the street, you might have noticed it - it was home and working place for women who sold their body - remember that red room above the pub in the house? And we children were the results of that.

Yes, it was. The boss tried to keep it secret from us kids, but in school, they told us about that. *shrugs* Anyway, it seems to be over now. They all left. And I doubt they will come back.

So. This is a male cat and a female. *points* With cats, it works basically the same way as with human beings! Look! *turns Garfie around* Now, when they both are ready, he takes this thing - *points* See?
*puts Garfie down and takes Annanagram up and turns her around* - and then he inserts it here - *points* See?
*puts Annanagram back into the basket*
During that process, some of his cells enter her body where they find some special cells of her. They unite and develop into babies. And after a while, when they have grown enough, Annanagram would give birth to some kittens! *smiles* Understood?
