cannot be done without too much work
just put it in a different folder, get a new ini etc
i have 3 different versions installed and can start them with 3 different shortcuts
1.7 when!?!?!?

Like DavidM explained that would require way too much work now. There's simply not enough time to change all names etc. You shouldn't just think of the gametype but also new map versions, new texture versions etc. If we had to change everything for each version we would release, well... poor us.
