/me is considering dropping college to go to work so i can afford myself a nice little X2, 7900 system

because this

p4m266 MSI AGPX4 motherboard
intel celeron D320 2.4ghz @ 2.8ghz
512MB DDR333mhz PC2700 ram
NVIDIA G4FX-5700le 128mb @ AGPX4

shitty system cant run oblivion on low settings higher that 5 fps... and thats just character selection.

i need AGPx8, a card that isnt a FX (they have trouble with it so people say) and yeah more ram... oh and maybe not a celeronD 478 shitsocket. :@

i managed to overclock most cores so ive gain 10-15fps.. i dare not play it more than 30minutes incase i crash (which has already happened)

im at the monk who needs the amulet, lock took me 2 attempts fwt beat that...

running with AGP8x won't make that much difference, i think.

Buy yourself a nice lil Ati X series or nVidia 6, they're pretty cheap now and you will be fine.

and another 512MB shouldnt be too expensive either and would serve you well.

i only have 2 dimm slots with 2x256mb in them already, so ill probably get 2x512mb if anything. also trying to find a decent 12-superscalar pipeline gfx cards under £100.

amd64 3500+ @ 4400+
ati x1800xt
1024 ram

get more memory than 1gb

(get faster memory than ddr333 too. you'll probably have to change your motherboard)

. jermaine, getting new mobo aswell will cost too much, if i do that, ill probably get myself a new tower overall instead... and yes my mobo only supports pc-2700.

I wont have much money dont forget.... maybe £150 overall :S

(enough for nice 12pp gfx card and 1gb ram i.m.o.... 1280mb DDR333 and about Geforce 6800 GS/X800 Gto...dunno which yet)

This is just for TES4 Oblivion/Neverwinter Nights 2 (when its out)

UT2007 can probably suck ma dich because im bored of FPS shooting. And i doubt db will be on it.
PES6 may be a gfx tester... but im sure 6800/x800 can run it well.

Diablo 3 when it comes out will be a killer i.m.o
