cube (crowd/ambience) \o/

initially when I started this thread it just annoyed me (1.6 - everybody can hear the gun power up regardless of ambient noise... you have to be pretty hard of hearing not to hear it!)

well I can still *just* hear the gun power up in 1.7 cub3, however the crowd still annoys me a little, I don't think it makes too many odds, just would prefer it without.

Besides, if an answer ever appears on this thread, you too will know how to shut them up! (if you want to)

Some people play with music to add to the confusion, I don't, but as a keeper, I want all the help I can get, to have an idea when someone is powering up to shoot and all the unnecessary noise (crowd) can go home! (bah humbug!) (spectators are okay though :PPP )

btw^^ I changed the "world detail" to "normal" so the crowd wasn;t there last night but I could still hear them! - so that theory is out the window.

its too loud, it makes the map annoying to play

just make it lower for everyone.

Well cant really comment to well since I always have winamp and UT muted =)

But as others have said to eliminate the crowd noise on cube, would make it feel some what different, and imo not as good =(

Played for a while last night tho with sound on (For a change) and didnt appear to be that bad for me?? then again I do turn into zombie mode on DB and end up starring at the screen more often that not =o. Or so im told

imo its louder than anything else. it feels like the crowd is nearer to you than your own gun :E

Maybe we should try bee like the pro's (real footballers) they can’t just change an option to turn the crowed off they just have to learn to block it out
