Replays. How?

I just figured I'd rather be able to jump around(especially if someone was pissing me off... I like to bounce on their heads) than be forced to watch a replay I don't really care for
Also figured how many keepers really want to see a replay of a shot they failed to block? They were right there, they saw it.
I just hope that wouldn't be too hard to code

Sweet idea.
Unfortunately, it is impossible to pull off in Unrealscript. (and even w/ c++ DLLs it would prove extremely difficult to code). I suppose you could have the player stare at a wall while the replay is shown in a window.. but for the most part, it is impossible to have two activities occur simultaneously in one level.
For the record, saving/loading replays is also impossible in script. They can be played back at the end of the match... but forget trying to play them at a later date.
Note that it might be possible eventually for windows users to save/load replays.. maybe.
Also, currently replays are slated to be serverside. This is mostly do to the accuracy boost that this gives. (the viewer will see the true player movement, and not extrapolated movement). Of course, server-side replays present saving problems.. then again, demo logging can always be done to "save" them.
