i always keep better when i know my defense is shit. also eli and lec only defend good when they know their keeper sucks.

There's nothing quite as satisfying as doing good defence though

yup
the only problem... in order to make good defense you need to attack. because not attacking is begging for goals.
but attacking means you risk something in def, because the defenders are attacking and might not be back in time (when lec attacks the keeper again etc)

So if attacking and defending is a risk, and considering that keeping is not waterproof (nobody is a complete wall), as well as passing being a risk for putting out the ball in between teammates, I think it'd be fair to state risk is inherent to deathball.
