Ragnar Tornquist, what can I say, I love him. Anyone who hasn't rushed out and bought Dreamfall, shame on you (play The Longest Journey first though).

If I was DavidM I'd write a long review on Dreamfall, that no-one will read, in the vain hope that people will actually go out and buy this masterpiece of storytelling. Needless to say I'm not, so I'll leave it up to you.

I'd cry if there wasn't a third game.

It's an adventure game with some action elements. If you have any interest in adventures or just heavily narrative driven games you should really give it a try (rules most people out I fear). The story is superb. Arcing over two distinct worlds, with superb characterisation. It's the sequel to The Longest Journey, one of the greatest adventure games of all time. Here's the website:

www.dreamfall.com

Finding words to do it justice is difficult, since it's basically all about the story and I wouldn't want to give any of it away. The reason I posted was the feeling I was left with after I completed it. I've never been so drawn in emotionally via video games before. If you want to be moved, confused and challenged I'd check it out.

It all sounds very interesting from reading your post and the website.

Maybe I'll buy The Longest Journey when I have the money :o (spending money on festivals and reiki - yes - first though)
