Hi, i am an Australian DB Player and no noob to the excellent game.

But here is an idea for you to tinker with David.
I am pretty sure you know about the Ninja Rope mutator? well i was thinking that it could be incorporated into DB very nicley indeed. You can kill people with it and use it as a boost (well spider man style).

It would add a whole new element to the game. It could be a special weapon for keepers maybe or an option like speed.

Anyway just getting the creative juices flowing, mybe i will see it in versions to come.

the ninja rope is like a grappling hook. You latch onto another player and catapult yourself past them or into them. It has a range of about 800 uu's (i think, might be configurable) so it wouldnt be overly abusable for team boosting.

The ninja rope was a tool in Worms Armageddon to pull yourself to higher places...

If you made the ninja rope attached to the sprint gague, made it so you couldnt move while doing it and made it suck 3/4 of your strint bar it'd be a very handy tool.

If it did happen, people would just swing into goals and score easy unblockable shots, i reckon..........but who knows? o_O

i also agree unless a different method is implemented for it such as piggyback boosting meaning you could boost someong, ninja-rope them, then boost yourself letting the 2 of you fly across the field. A VERY good tactic in DB if it were implemented.

Also, you wouldnt be able to use it while carrying the ball and it had a range limit and only stuck to other players...

It could be interesting depending on implementation.

Surge has the right state of mind, and god dammit zonk you piss me off in ozforums and now here, why did you copy exacly what i said and change it to bring me down, and you cant use other weapons while your swinging so meh, i reckon it would work

this is COMPLETELY stupid, just because one idea is fun, and another idea is fun, you cant just put them together and make it twice as fun!

it would be like putting ut2003 weapons in medal of honor or adding cars to deathball or something.

it would ruin the flow of the game
i dont want to get across the map in 2 seconds from anywhere, i dont want to see everyone on the field swinging around, impossible to pass to. I dont want a ninja rope in db, period
