Oh, I just notice that I forgot level 72 both in my favorite levels list and my hardest levels list. Well, it is there somewhere in both of them. Especially hardest .... hmm, let's say place seven, right after -12.

Levels 52 and -14 were BY FAR the hardest levels to solve. Those two make the rest of them seem easy. (At least with some of the other "hard" levels it's possible to get them by guessing!)

Someone ought to do a tally of what everyone thought of each level and see which ones have a consensus for being the hardest. Maybe I'll do that later, when I need a break.

Ha, now I can finally make a fair list of the hardest notpron levels.

All in all, I must say that the hardest levels weren't the greek (the only ones that really stumped me there were Delta and Lambda) but levels -26 to -34. Almost everyone of them took me a week, and if you get passed them, you are passed the hardest part in Notpron.

1: Lambda (first part=very unfair)
2: Level 52 (many clues, hard to know which to start with)
2: Level -40 (tone-deaf)
3: Level -31
4: Level -6
5: Level -34
6: Level Kappa (is missing a clue or two)
6: Level -12
7: Level -28 (just like 52, many clues, hard to know where to start)
8: Level Delta
9: Level Beta
10: Level -29

I liked -31, I didn't find it that hard You just have to get the right idea and pay attention to every small detail

It was the only level in Notpron that took me THREE weeks to solve. Not counting the two month-long breaks I had, and the problem I had with downloading the file in 81.

I like it though, it's pretty clever. I thought so after I solved it, that is, I hated it while working on it. It was hard, since I knew very little about that stuff ... but now I know a lot more.

i read this whole thread AND CANT FIND SINGLE person saying anything about minus 19

i am even more frustrated................is it so easy...or should be..?

Nah, -19 was ok, neither too hard, nor too easy.

Lambda was by far the most difficult level, and I think many would agree with me there.

-19 is quite easy, but you may be stuck because some things are ambiguous. try different possibilities.

I think 76 was the hardest level for me....
Maybe DavidM should put another clue in this one, cause you are on your own to solve it, you don't really know if what you try is good or not...and it takes soooo many times to get it!!

But this is my feeling...maybe some persons found it easy (But i am curious to hear them)
And this is strange cause the 78 (with the '<Removed>') is so easy compared to.... I really don't understand the logic of difficulty level on the whole riddle...it's a mysterious thing just like the riddle itself ! Anyway, this is so much fun...

There are plenty of clues in level 76.

Every level of not pron is supposed to be like.. "you are on your own to solve it, you don't really know if what you try is good or not..and it takes soooo many times to get it"
That's the point of notpron. To figure out what to do to solve the level.

The worst part on 76 was that I kept miscounting Besides that, I found it pretty nice and clear back then, I found it like "Hey, THAT must be it! Let's try!"

Level 76 was pretty easy. Just a bit time-consuming.
