Nah, I don't really know yet..it was just an introduction :)

It's good to be able to have a better understanding of what's going on in your body (and to nurture your consciousness to include doing so), which is accomplished through things like meditation, yoga and tai chi.

I'm also in dire need of getting more balance, and most of all peace/rest, into my body and mind :) And if tai chi can help me do that: It's worth a try.

Regardless of what you believe or not, tai chi is very calming, and it gives you a good 5 to 30 minutes (or longer) of calmth, draws attention to yourself (your breath, body, etc.), trains you in self-control..and it has a lot of the same benefits as meditation - because you get your mind off of things, the movements are like a mantra is to meditation.

Anyway, if you want to know more:

There's also some information on the same page regarding medical research done on Tai Chi.

edit: Why does the forum code break up "medical research"?

I said it was awesome :)

And I said it was awesome because it gives me the possibility to discover more about myself..as well as give me a way to calm down, and to give me balance in terms of energy etc.
