apparently Almeida is being linked with a transfer on loan to Bayer Leverkusen, if he can realise his potential there, he might be ready for 2008, who knows?

stupid idd, reminds me of a case of a portuguese player that ended his career this season with a red card also lol. both had bad temper for their entire career, i guess it suits them, but Zidane completely wasted he's opportunity for a glorious ending, and may now become a villain. (hope not)

well, gratz to Italy, i said before the beginning of the WC that Italy or Germany would take it and Italy did it, Germany came close $\o/$ France was a surprise for me, i must admit, even more after those horrible first matches, but they played good football now at the end of the WC. But Italy needed this cup badly i think and im happy to see them win against France.

And now they are only one cup away from Brazil

I predict the newspapers tomorrow will be 50% italy and 50% zidane....
in a normal final it should be 100% italy, but this final was....dumb 0_o

Pirlo deserved more, imo. If one of the reasons they gave the best young player award to Podolski instead of Ronaldo was because of the unsporting attitudes, it really makes sense to give it to Zidane after what he did last night...

dont get me wrong, its nice and all but it feels like a career award rather than an objective WC2006 analysis. but nothing new here, i think.

) And Zidane was planning on taking his penalty in the shootout with his head. Seriously though, you can tell he planned that, he gets into position and delivers the killer blow.

Anyway, my dad has apparently won a lot of money on the World Cup just in small bets. He got Italy from the start of the tournament.
